Pastor Ivan breaking bread for Communion

As God’s people, worship is what we are called to do. Whether together or apart, near or far, God’s people are called to be the church and to worship the God of love incarnate in Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of God brings new life and nurtures that life in community. In virtual and physical ways, we gather in community to worship and serve our risen Lord. Our 10:00 a.m. Sunday hybrid in-person and live stream worship service blends traditional and contemporary music styles and includes pre-recorded videos which provide an opportunity for members and friends of our faith community to participate in ways that bring new life to the Word.

Communion

Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Communion is also served on the holidays of Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Maundy Thursday.

In-Home Communion

Recipients of in-home communion are usually members of CPC who cannot attend services due to chronic health and mobility issues. Usually the Associate Pastor refers those to receive, and others within the congregation may make referrals. It is best to check with the Associate Pastor before making arrangements to provide services. Servers of in-home communion may be active or retired Elders or Deacons. Most servers have specific recipients they serve each month.
